In short. This website is run by Satoru. We keep data collection to a minimum. Nothing that isn't strictly necessary runs until you choose Accept on the cookie banner — if you choose Reject, no analytics or marketing cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer.

Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We group them as follows, and only the strictly necessary group runs without your consent:

Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a restricted “consent mode” that sets no identifying cookies, and the Meta Pixel is not loaded at all.
Your choices
- Accept turns on analytics and marketing cookies.
- Reject keeps them off — only the strictly necessary cookie remains.
- You can withdraw or change consent whenever you like via Cookie preferences in the site footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
What we collect and why
If you consent to analytics or marketing, Google and Meta may process technical information such as your IP address (used to approximate location, not stored by us), device and browser type, pages viewed and actions taken. We see this only as aggregated statistics — we do not identify individual visitors. Our lawful basis for these cookies is your consent.
If you email us, we process the contents of your message to reply and, where relevant, to arrange a booking. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Buying tickets
Tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor, a separate service. When you click a “Tickets” button you leave this site for their box office, where their own privacy policy and payment processing apply. We never see or store your card details.
Who your data is shared with
We don't sell your data. Where you've consented, it is processed by our analytics and marketing providers — Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (the Pixel) — acting on our behalf. These companies are based in the United States, so consented data may be transferred there under the safeguards those providers offer (such as the EU–US and UK data-bridge frameworks and standard contractual clauses). How long we keep it
Aggregated analytics are retained by Google for a limited period (by default up to 14 months) and then deleted or anonymised. Emails you send are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email satoruexperience@gmail.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last reviewed” date at the top.
